  • Who is accountable and what is the solution

According to black demographics.com “Black women are the head of 27% of all Black households in 2018 which is more than twice the rate for ‘all women’ at 12 percent. These are households defined by the U.S. Census Bureau as having a female head and no spouse present. Only 37% of Black women who gave birth were married which is almost the opposite for ‘all women’ at 66%.”

In regard to the black man and woman, if their most valuable resource is one another, then why are 27% of our women heads of households and in the proximity of 80% unmarried. What’s the solution?

The problem is unconscious disparity brought on by self hatred and fear of one another taught by the society we live in. We are in too deep and it is getting worse by the day. Sadly, the only solution I see is a complete withdrawal from the Mzungu way of life, an exodus.

Well, if two heads are better than one, then perhaps you may also suggests some possible solutions; that is, if you're not a child or adolescent posing this question.

You and I are responsible. We must get to those at risk and get them to change their thoughts and actions in order to live more safely in this world.

White Supremacy is the main cause caused us to divide in regards to colorism, petty beefs etc.

What is it about social construct mindsets that influence people to determine their values?

You forgot to mention the divorce rate...Women divorce 80% of the time maybe that factors into why they are unwed and single.

I don't there is one solution to focus on but many things to be done to effectively curtail those statistics. Educating the youth better about basic values and principles. And educating the general public particularly black people the source of this systemic racism being used against us. And how it's being perpetrated selectively throughout certain communities and against certain individuals.
At the federal level these covert atrocities are being ignored and thereby sanctioned. We're at a time when brain washing and mind control is at an all time high. That is the root of this problem!

We are accountable to ourselves. The solution is self discipline.

Unfortunately I don’t think we realize as a whole that we are each other’s most valuable resource. There really needs to be a complete mindset change on both sides. I have been talking to my husband and father both about the negative mentalities that are being pushed through music and media onto black Americans.. mentalities that promote the idea that “These n!gas ain’t sh!t” and these “H0es ain’t loyal” … oh and flex culture.. it’s all ruining us. The culture has been completely infiltrated through music. We need to create a new culture that promotes unity of the black man and black woman and family.. but too many of us idolize these celebrities that are paid to intentionally promote the opposite.

It's like the old saying about our economic and industrial system: We use to be consumers but now we are largely consumers. A similar analogy to our cultural dilemma is we must be builders not just users., ie.,we must create schools, more businesses, hospitals etc. Develop infrastructures that we can rely on and support our ideals and values again...
It is true historically we did create these things and the dominant culture destroyed these things. We must begin to recreate these things to effect real change.
