  • R. Kelly sentenced to 30 years in sex trafficking case.

Wow. They threw the book at R. Kelly. It looks like he might die in prison.

Fallen R&B superstar R. Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison Wednesday for using his fame to subject young fans — some just children — to systematic sexual abuse. Through tears and anger, several of Kelly's accusers told a court, and him, that he had preyed on them and misled his fans. Kelly, 55, didn't speak at his sentencing, where he also was ordered to pay a $100,000 fine.

Justice will be served. His actions will definitely reflect what he has done over the years, over the abuse of all these women with his power. "With great power comes great responsibility". Other than this topic I also want to remind everyone, we are running out of black leaders of influence in our societies. I once had a conversation with my family over the specific topic about black leadership. I was once told and I quote "cats only have nine lives, white people have three lives, black people only have none, be wary of your privilege because we don't have any"

It's such a shame that he did this. He could of been with women without going for girls or abusing anyone.

Interesting point about running out of black leaders. I'll look into this more.
