The best thing he could have done in this situation would have been to simply stand in front of her, to prevent her from going towards his wife and child as was claimed. It would be good to see more of this situation i.e. including what happened before, maybe from a different viewpoint that gives more scope.

Having this happen in a service isn't the best look, the drama should be at a minimum. This just seems wild.
