I know one thing, having a good motherboard is CRUCIAL to the performance of a PC. I remember, back in the day, I chose the wrong motherboard--and IWILL motherboard--and that thing was terrible. It was very slow. I traded that thing in for an Intel 440BX motherboard, and that thing was smoking fast.
