Social engineering has destroyed us and our relationships. Our music, our TV shows, our social media and even our friends are steering many of us in the wrong direction. In order for us to get to what would be considered a normal society with healthy man/woman relationships, we need to complain to the FCC...and that's just a start! How can we really blame Cardi b and Meghan the Stallion for W.A.P. when the record companies encourage and finance them to put out garbage? At the same time the FCC has thrown the regulations and rules out the 10th floor window. I remember when you couldn't hear one cuss word on the radio (i'm 45) but now, rappers and singers can say almost anything. That's how we're being socially engineered to self destruct. And it's become normal to most people.

I disagree with this approach. Men rap about the same things and don't receive any scrutiny. If they are going to address something, please don't start off by targeting women. It sounds like a big double standard. If they are going to address this matter, please don't start off by making misogynistic comments. Men are equally guilty of this, Yet they only mentioned women. This approach is tactless and could use some work in not singling women out while excluding men who do the same things. Men rappers commonly rap about the same thing as said women(Cardi B and Meghan the Stallion). It doesn't matter how they rap about these things. It's literally the same thing no matter who is doing the rapping. But you all seem to target women rappers for doing the same the that male rappers have been doing for ages: May I add. without scrutinizing the men. In order to address any perceived issues, you need to address it in a way that is from an objective point of view.

I remember when I first heard the whole P word in a song - R. Kelly wanted to marry it ... ... I was so shocked.

We could complain or just not buy their nonsense. We have a hard time dealing with the ratchet among our ranks.

I'm not following this claim. Are you saying that profanity and violent depictions are significant enough to need government intervention? Why do you believe it is the music that influences the culture instead of the other way, or that both influence each other?

I still have a hard time believing that music is what is to blame for our issues. The connections are very loose and its more likely that the music is only reflecting our culture of a lack of community, an escapism with money, drugs, danger....the celebration of poverty and crime against each other...these are actual issues in Black life that aren't made by the music.

Because some of my family grew up the exact opposite of me some of them grew up in High affluent areas safe from any type of noticeable harm such as rampant violence drug dealers standing on the corner the typical things that inner city youth have to deal with yeah when I would go to visit some of my Suburban cousins it seems like the more and more we grew the more and more ghetto and wanting to be Hood they would act and considering the fact that they grew up with well-educated parents who could afford them the best schools best homes best environment why are you trying to act like you're some savage gangster from the struggle who's lived in the hood all his life and it's a direct correlation to a music that is literally teaching kids how to be ghetto how to act ghetto how to do drugs down to the science we do need some type of intervention on this you have little kids that come from the suburbs acting like they come from oppressed areas and they don't

Contacting the FCC is just one more way of tying our hands and giving away a freedom. I just heard a news story where a Black woman was issued a $385 ticket because the Mzungu neighbor complained she was talking on her phone too loud. If more and more legislation and rules restrict us, soon it will be "open" big brother here. There are many annoyances out here. If you restrict this outlet for young people doesn't it seem reasonable to you that crime would increase, I think a better solution is to give these kids a more positive replacement for their behavior. Organized sports and crafts comes to mind and preparation for entreprenuership and the like. Check out my post in the sports category here and get an idea of what I'm talking about.

IMHO, I would like to open the subject of replacement behavior for youth to the forum. Since Covid, most best practices have become ineffective.

We must invest in our own families and create the culture we want to have. If we don’t do this then our children will go to outsiders to get funding and those outside will victimize them, have them saying and doing all kinds of things that aren’t civil. When we take most of our dollars and support “others” instead of developing and supporting our own, we leave our subsequent generations begging and desperate for support. We have to turn this around and commit to supporting our children first and foremost. When we teach them to do the same with their children, so on and so on, we then create a strong nation. One worthy to call civilized.

You hit the nail on the head. Starting with the base (our kids) and leading them, supporting them, funding them and spending the time is the place to start. Even those who don't have kids need to get in on this one. What a joy it is to see a well-groomed, healthy, educated Black child growing up against all odds and moving not just his life but the world to excellence---superb!

There is an agenda that has been going on for the least 30 years in the entertainment industry especially with rap music. Y'all remember when Public Enemy , X Clan and their I'll was making conscious and elevated rap pretty popular but the powers that be in 1991 made sure to push more gangster rap in the other Street endeavors making Biggie and Tupac NWA Onyx and other various hip hop artists the mainstream. It has continued that way pretty much for the last 30 years gloriying negativity and influencing many of the your to do gangsta thangs...filling the prison system up so much private prisons opened up and are on the stock market!
I liken this to call in it subliminal colonialism makes SOME Brothers and sisters caught up in The matrix dead or in prison. THE FCC is part of the problem. The mainstream media really doesn't give a damn about ethics and morals. To destabilize the common man and woman is always the goal. Keep the common people preoccupied while they make all the power moves that influence the world as they know it which influences us indirectly or directly. The question is what are the solutions that we can implement to stop them to hinder them or to enlighten our people to elevate from The matrix of what they are doing?

We need to withdraw ourselves from Mzungu way of life. Frist, mentally then spiritually and then physically. By networking and discussing these issues, getting at the root of these problematic areas and winding our way out from there. I know plenty of people who are doing this just in their every day moving about. The fire has to be lit from within. I know that sounds like a farfetched notion with no root or basis in facts but it is how every idea has it's beginning. We all know we are unhappy. We just have to know that we have support and backup when the opportunities present themselves to act. Our merging together as one sovereign people will not be by organization but by one small group meshing with another and then another etc. This is what Mzungu are afraid of and why they orchestrate so hard to keep us apart Spreading the word on these back channels of social media is the most powerful tool we have to reach the millions of us. And contrary to what Mzungu would have the world to believe about us, there are more intelligent, progressive Black people out there than thugs and it is we who will move this battle to fruition. Don't think that nothing is being done. I talk to lots of Black people everyday who are waking up from the nightmare. You and I and all the others here are all part of that network come to be known as New Black Media, spreading the truth and closing the gap between our people. Well done bruh. Don't stop. You are being heard and heeded through the ethers.

Yes it is understandable that the 1 percent wants to keep the Moors, Blacks, Alkebulans, Whatever you desire to answer to. We must get out of titles and unite for one common cause and that we are melanin people and there is an agenda to keep us down and fighting each other and to make money on our sweat and tears. There are too many wars we are fighting each and every day. There is police abuse, gentrification, WS killing our soldiers, and our children, hell we are killing each other, prison complex, prisoners of war still in prison and now sending our 7 year old children to prison for rape. The sad part about it i can go on and on. Therefore we will get tired because they are strategically pounding us in every way to weigh us down and it is working. We must study war tactics to see what is the best method to tie every demise that is happening to us as melanin people as the Seminole did. The name means separatists -simano-li. We must place all these atrocities under one umbrella that will address all to fight as human rights. We even have the immunity bill from the supreme court that is happening to us. We must connect the dots and stop fighting individual cases and place everything under one umbrella and fight like hell demanding what we want or separation is in order with our reparation. Connect the dots. I want to talk about reparations. Georgetown University along with a few other places are giving false reparations and being controlled by the still slave holders. They are even setting up a go fund me to help WITH the reparations. I told us melanin PEOPLE loud and cleared all through many post to pay ourselves all over the world of Blacks to pay $1.00 and more to a reputable holding that is govern by us and for us which will generate not billions but trillions of dollars to make great strives. We spent 1.3 trillion dollars here in America on things. I said over and over do not spend your money on no one who does not help us and found Blacks were angry with just the saying. How sick are we. However it is going to take a large amount if us to pull this off and not just our small groups. Poverty is real but wealth is what we have collectively. We must never forget this. We are talking too much and not enough action. The Pres. Biden went to russia and had a nerve to talk about human rights and turn around and give you holidays and statues but no tangible substance to help save our lives. Appease the ******s they fall for it all the time. His son uses ******s and the tree dont fall to far from the tree. This will not be a one leader mission but connecting with strong fighters around the world. There us a book out stating you cant kill all of us!!!!!

It's not just the music, it's the imagery as well, BET television, twerking, Designer Housewives, the clothing, the radio waves, social media, agenda taught in school. It's not just here in U.S. but all over the world. It is orchestrated and designed purposely to destroy us and create another group of us, like us but not us who can be more easily manipulate and controlled due to lack of melanin.

The devil comes in many forms. To steal (our words), kill and destroy. But we recognize IT and are not fooled by IT. Get thee behind me satan, you who would divide and conquer. Don't test me. I ain't the one. And don't force me to break you down and expose you letter by letter. Because I will.

The devil does come in many forms and you are one of them. Get back satan because you can not destroy the truth!!! You follow us Blacks everywhere. WS are all over but speaking the truth as I have with uniting and paying ourselves really scares them. There job is to take the true messengers and plant and plant lies to deter the masses from speaking. So sad and so sick!!! Love peace truth justice and freedom principles to stand on. Same tactics to divide and conquer. They lied on Malcolm MLK Marcus Garvey and more. People awake yourselves by seeking just one of the principles that is truth!! This has been edited to show the reply remark of someone is no more than a provocateur and may or not look like us. Coons comes in many shades.
