One of the things I learned about investing in stocks is to have your own Brokerage Account where you can control the type of stocks you have in your portfolio. I was also told to invest in stocks that pay dividends monthly or quarterly. The companies that offer stocks that pay dividends try to do everything in their power to protect their stocks and to continue paying dividends. Dividend King and Dividend Aristocrat stocks are some of the best to own. Dividend King stocks have been paying increased dividends for at least 50 years and Dividend Aristocrat stocks have been paying increased dividends for at least 25 years.
