NHS in Christmas strike crisis: More than 10,000 ambulance workers will walk out the day after 100,000 nurses down tools as GMB tells 999 crews to take industrial action on Dec 21 and 28.
The strike will see 10,000 paramedics, emergency care assistants, call handlers and other staff walk out in the ongoing dispute over pay, as 100,000 nurses also strike on December 15 and 20.
